The Civilian Rescue and Escape Loop
Find surviving Haddonfield residents, convince them that Michael is a threat, and guide them safely toward one of the possible randomized escapes around the map.
Successful conversations can let you request additional police calls, direct residents to secure hiding places, or have residents accompany you through Haddonfield.
Each playable Civilian has unique stats, special traits, and a signature personality, so use the strengths of your chosen character while supporting the neighborhood.
Escape Items, Noise, and Recovery After Death
- Where do Civilians find escape supplies?
- Search lootable containers around the map for weapons, distractions, and key items used to unlock and access possible escape routes.
- Why must the escape plan change each match?
- Item and escape locations change from match to match, so adjust your strategy around the objects and routes you uncover.
- What happens when an escape sequence starts?
- Starting an escape sequence generates tremendous noise and alerts Michael to your exact location.
- Can a player still help after a Civilian dies?
- A dead Civilian can continue supporting friends and may return to Haddonfield as a Sheriff's Deputy or Dr. Loomis.
- How can the group ultimately stop Michael?
- Michael cannot be killed, but enough community resistance, proper equipment, and manpower can detain him and send him back to Smith's Grove Sanitarium.
